I was going to visit my brother in California but the cost for a few days was just too high.
I suggested flying him back here but he's petrified of flying and won't do it but said he would bus it though.
He left today and Wednesday I will be seeing him for the first time in 30 years. It didn't really sink in until the
last couple of days just how overwhelming of an experience this is going to be. It's a little tough dealing with this one.
You'd think I'd be excited but actually I'm scared. Crazy what life throws at you. Two months ago (roughly) I had no
clue what was going on with my brother or where he was at or anything and now I'm 3 days away from seeing him.

To anyone who mentioned my wife she's fine.
A knot and a cut, not pleasant but minor. She jokes about it now.
To anyone who mentioned ignore you're right. (everyone pretty much said the same.)
I guess I just felt like I was keeping someone from saying something and that's so not the case.
The only downside is having to sign on first. I looked in earlier and thought they were back only to realize
I didn't sign in. I like to check in before I sign in to give myself a moment to think about what I might post.
Too many "I should have thought first moments" not to do that.
