Annoying as all fuck, eh, JD? Yeah, I am holding my breath for the "3-axe attack!" No, wait, I want another Painkiller! FFS!
You know where I stand on Nostra. Were that the last album (and for me, without KK, it would be), I am fine with it. However, a final (or even penultimate) blast from the almighty Priest?! I am with you there! Too be seen and I, like you, am hoping for the best from the greatest band ever. PLEASE!! NO Lochness!!!
About the site? Far change from 2005, eh? Lowest bar of stupidity I have ever seen from the members. Dumbasses who don't realize that they are helping drive it into the ground with their drivel. Keep the faith, bro'. Hope you and yours are well.

Wow I agree Becks .....this is sooooo the last Priest album without a doubt. Its been almost 10 years since a Priest lp was released with a traditional style. One thing is 100% certain that we don't have to read Hellrider and Brian Evans fill these threads with "K.K. come back,3 Axe attack" because K.K. is not on this new studio album! Fuck...how irritating was that anyways? That and demanding a Painkiller ONLY style record....nothin else...just Painkiller lol. My opinions? I want a heavy ass album but definately not in the vien of Painkiller. A lot heavier than AOR though as well...hope there are No ballads! And no tracks like Revolution,Worth Fighting For(yeah I like the track but don't want another like this) or Lochness either. I just hope its got good songs! For as much as I bitch about the band I sure as hell hope so. |

I have the same hopes for the new JP album too, Bud. I daresay it will be their last album, so fingers crossed it's worth the wait we've had to endure!

I hope they made something that shows they tried to put out a metal album that seems a little current, something like they did back in the day when their next album was always different from the one before but still had a Priest sound to it. They were always moving forward. They did this (with mixed reviews) until Demolition. (Sorry I'm not counting Nostradamus) I don't want to hear Painkiller or British Steel or any other album I want to hear a "new" Priest album. I hope it's not just a "formula" concept like I thought A.O.R. was. My other favorite is releasing their cd May 13th. It's called "The Righteous and the Butterfly". Don't laugh it had me wondering also. "Righteous" is for JJ Righteous an original member and guitar player who died and the "Butterfly" is for Skinny's (Drummer/founder) wife who died also. I just got my tickets today for their release party in Cleveland. I just saw them Saturday and already got tickets for MRH show number 22. I have alot to look forward to.

@Headbanger. Where did you go. I'm guessing Mexico or a little farther south? Which ruins? I went to the ruins in Tulum, the other's (can't remember name) are supposed to be cooler. The ones I saw were on a hill near cliffs with a beautiful view of the ocean. The original wall (not entire) still surrounds the place. The wife and I strayed from the crowd to a secluded section that gave us a nice view of the ocean. It was kind of cool sitting on a wall that was 1500 years old checking out the view thinking about Mayans doing the same thing back then. May have been short but probably still fun.

Didnt get to the reef. walked from the main dock thru the market, then up to the square and saw the far side of the island, with some woman selling shells on the sea wall. then down to another little town for lunch. looks like a nice place to stay. might look into going back there. the resort strip is nice, and I am over it now. 2 trip there, if someone pays, sure I would go back, but the canned resort thing gets old |

Nice! Far too short, though, as you say. I stayed an entire week on Isla Mujeres ("Woman Island," man!) and just sat back and laughed at all the people getting rained on in the Yucatán Peninsula. Really funny as bad weather often misses that slip of an island (save for the occasional devastating huracán! Make it to the corral reef on that island? GREAT snorkeling! No cars, as you know, so you have to rent a moped to get there but certainly worth it.
Long commute for just a couple of days but glad you enjoyed it.
