"Lolly" companies? I assume it comes from lollypop? Were I to say that to someone from NZ, they'd have an idea of what I meant with no need for clarification?
The peanut gallery wants to know! LOL!!!

Nope lol. It's not typically celebrated here, it's become en vogue in the last few years though thanks to lolly (candy) companies exploiting it. I'm sure there'll be a scary movie or two on television though. What are you doing for halloween?

Are you doing anything for Halloween?

Nah no specific brand, just high SPF, nothing less than 30. I like neutrogena cos it's not oily and gross lol.

I'm definitely looking forward to the Fall-like weather arriving in Cali...in like four weeks or so. Can't wait for the rainy weather and the cold nights and getting to wear all my giant jackets again. And also get some new boots.
Sucks about the ozone hole over NZ. Do you wear any store brand sunscreen or is there a specific kind that has to be worn if you live under/near an ozone hole?
Guids, can't wait to see that pic if you ever take it. Maybe you can give it to DF's band for their future first album?

Me! I like Spring cos it's not too hot lol. Although it signifies the start of having to wear sunscreen, damned ozone hole right above us and all.

Is it really the first official day? Not that I doubt you, Ms. Meterologist, I thought it started with college football. LOL!
Odd feeling as we have finally had a wee bit of rain around here along with under 90 degree weather. Makes things look even more gloomy with dark clouds hanging over crops that are dead in the fields. Doesn't look like they are even going to harvest for animal feed as they would have done it by now. I should take a picture. Might make for a good album cover. Led Zep planning on getting back together soon?

touche' on murrays looks guido lol , i am sure he is crying himself to sleep in his huge mansion , @becks you are welcome for the read, my pleasure !! i thought it was a good one as well , @ guido, i missed the halligan link as well to the song twist, i dont remember seeing a writing credit for him on the liner notes of resurrection more possible fallout on the GAP store sage of possibly ripping off the SFV logo www.blabbermouth.net

Great read thanks Acolyte, I especially liked Rob discussing how the SFV title track came about, that song always has e scratching my head a little in terms of how different it is to the rest of the record, IMO.
scotland forever!!! murray wins!!! on another note, good interview with rob and review of sfv-30 @ www.bravewords.com

Very interesting read, Acolyte. Thanks for posting it. Great insight not only about what was going on but also what IS happening (litigation, new album, etc.).
I never noticed that Halligan returned to write the lyrics for Halford's "Twist." Love that tune along with the other JP songs he helped pen.

LOL yes I knew you'd be watching Guido. Was a great match, not the best tennis ever at times but certainly a tense watch. And yeah, Murray is pretty ugly LOL!!!
Does anyone know if there will be more than one version (special editions etc.) of the Screaming For Vengeance" release?
Do you know if it will be on sale @ Walmart or elsewhere? Walmart's are usually cheaper but they only sell censored albums in store.
Uncensored ones need ordered. Is tomorrow still the scheduled release date?

LMAO!!!! Hilarious!
But seriously, that is super cool you sang your national anthem at a ball game DF!
Cool, man! I saw you on YouTube. You are looking pretty good and I think your voice has improved!

I like the festivus tree. Certainly requires much less storage throughout the year.
Christmas?! Bah, humbug. I celebrate Festivus for the rest of us!
About ready to unpack my Festivus pole. Assembly takes months.
