Well Good Morn all....
I was exhausted yesturday, so I watched dateline, then Farahs Story.... All I can say is .. My heart goes out to that woman..... her story brought back so many memories for me. SOme good some bad. some very sad.
I watched a very close relative die for 2 1/2 years from lung cancer.... Go through treatment after treatment, there was hope and the tumor would shrink, then by the end of the treatment, it was back to its regular size again...watching the cancer slowly spread to his bones, then his liver then his brain. The rollercoast ride from this illness, is a emotional reck.. I cried watching her story.. But I felt it was a heartfelt message for anyone battling, or helping some battle some form of cancer.. My only hope is someday they find a cure.. or at least better medicine to help prevent this disease from gaining strength, and taking so many people every year away from the rest of us.

I'm like you DF. I couldn't stomach seeing someone suffer like that. Rectal and colon cancer is one of the worst as far as suffering. It's is like you say...SO SAD. It's gloom overload for me. I work in healthcare and see it often. I can't find any value in it personally. I'm sure they are trying to reach an audience for awareness. Katie Curic has done wonders for raising awareness for colon cancer.

MG!! How's the patient/ (I'mnot sure what the time is now so don't know if you seen the vet or not)
Anyways if you haven't gone yet pleae ask them to give you a hydration fluid.. like hydrol or something that has electrolytes in it. You can either mix it up and put in his water bowl but make sure he's drinking it or you can get a syringe and squirt down his throat every half to one hour. Hard work but it will help prevent dehydration from the diahrreah.

We're just getting all the torrential rain that was forcast for yesterday- no doubt everyone in my year at school were praying for it not to rain on leavers day so we could have a bouncy castle and bbq on the pitches. After 14 years, no more school for me -very strange but I'm seriously looking forward to uni.

Well, it has been quite a day. I have a headache of epic proportions right now! I think an "early exit" is just what I need this evening.
Before I depart, I wanted to thank you all once again. I make mention of friendship a lot around here but I think that it's value is demonstrated more and more these days. Friends are a very important part of my life and an intregal ingredient to the harmony we usually enjoy. I guess I find that I am even more grateful for you of late. Yes its a hit load allright... you have to roll the car window at the end of the driveway to listen for a car/truck, because the snow is piled 25 feet high all along the road from the snow plows... LOL Night mare.
