I guess those "higher feelings" are leaving me. I still love Priest but quite honestly it's for what they've "done" not what they're "doing". Let me stress though that my disappointment stems from wanting to hear something out of my favorite band. I also want to stress that I understand their standpoint. These guys are getting up there in age. In the early years they gave everything they could. Every year it was album, tour, and no breaks. They earned the right to take it easy on themselves after a certain point. Something every single one of us hope to acheive. They have a life to live also and as the years pass it gets harder and harder to do what they're doing and find time to enjoy life also. I'm not angry at Priest even though that comes through in some of my posts. I'm just greedy and want as much as I can get out of them. I need to realize that they've given their all and at this stage I just need to be happy that they may give anything. I'll always love these guys but I still need to be entertained and there are others that do that for me so more of my attention goes elsewhere. I thank Priest for what they've given me and I'm OK if there is nothing else.

It's would probably narrow a little quicker if Rob fans would quit voting for Ronnie (lol) but it's 60/40 right now.

I never vote in these "Vs." polls/contests but I decided to throw a vote towards Rob for the latest one mentioned here. I don't think Rob has a chance against a dead man. Not trying to be callous but every dead musician is remembered as greater than he was so I expect that to boost Ronnie here. I've seen Ronnie James Dio many times since 1980 and he isn't any better than Rob yet he is killing him in this poll/contest. (76% to 24%)

I bought tickets to see Gemini Syndrome in early December. I messaged them on facebook and ask them if they would place the wife and I on their guestlist and they said yes just to remind them closer to the show. I'm starting to love their disc and I really appreciate how these guys stick to their word. A good band and it seems like they're good guys also. Some here may like some of their disc, it has hints of Nu Metal but  for the most part it's not. They have clean vocals most of the time but his singing style may not appeal to all. If I had to label them I would call them Nu Progressive. Yeah I made that up lets just hope it doesn't stick. To me it's all metal. I never really try to break it down anymore.
