Yes but you either have to hack the iPod or, even easier, convert it. I assume that you are using a PC? If so, just do a google search for "convert wma files to mp3." You'll find a ton of apps that will do it. Personally, I use Goldwave but here is one of many freeware programs that will do the same. www.jakeludington.com/windows_media/20071109_how_to_convert_wma_to_mp3.html

OMG.. There is so much pollen in the air today.. I took a allergy pill.. But I feel so lite headed.. I need to go lay down for a while.. Iam overly stressed with this house, and moving out of the country.. I think its catching up with me... Be back later .. I need a nap..

in that case you will need someone smarter than me. I think you can make all the mp3 into m4a files for itunes, but not the reverse. I just never did it.

That sucks. I'll have to figure it out b/c I want to get an mp3 player, and it might as well be an iPod since their music store is more than double the size of Yahoo Music Jukebox - which is where I currently purchase individual tracks.

I just play all my mp3's thru media player, and only use itunes for m4a files. I only got it when I got a bootleg priest concert in m4a format.
