I must have seen every episode multiple times. Nothing better than a good Aunt Esther one. Especially with Grady and Bubba thrown into the mix.

Redd Foxx was a funny guy, still watch reruns of sanford and son. Very dirty as a stand-up comedian.

Debates are pretty funny there, however you are right about it being really funny "back in the day." Sure, we are far from the Belushi days that kept me fighting to stay awake as a kid, they do have some talented comedians. However, they seem to be few and far in between lately. Shows like the Daily Show steal a lot of their thunder, IMO. |

Exactly, but (speaking of Chicago) think of all the great Second City players they had back at the start. Only show that used to come a close second was SCTV. John Candy and company were friggin' HILARIOUS! Just got a best of, in fact.

jerZgirl, so sorry to hear about your break up. I too know of the pain of loss.

Know that you are not alone, even if it feels like you are.
In the meantime, watch a sad movie or twenty- giving you the "excuse" to let it all out and cry like a baby; lean on a good friend(s) who are NOT your ex; eat your favorite dessert or candy without guilt; and remember that sleep is restorative so get a lot of it or as much as you can.

Which we are, we know the same people which is a blessing and a curse...but we have so much in common, we finsih each others sentences, and it was like my heart snapped in half. Always a sad thing when relationships go south. I am sure most (if not all) of us here know. They always say: "better now than 20 years into it, married and with children."
