I was wrapping presents in my room and listening to songs coming from the TV, from an XM Channel called Hair Nation (we have DirecTV, so we get those XM Channels). I was wrapping my sister's gift, when I hear the opening riff from Some Heads are Gonna Roll. My first reaction was "Oooooooooohhhhhhhh!!!!!!" in a hushed but excited tone. In a heartbeat I turn up the volume on the TV until I reach the limit.
What sucked? THE LIMIT JUST WASN'T HIGH ENOUGH!!!!!! I HAD TO PUT MY EAR TO THE SPEAKERS TO HEAR IT LOUD!!!!!!!!  |

I reckon the Black Album itself is great. It's got some cool songs on it. What sucks is that the success of the album caused James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich to believe that they were the two greatest guys on the planet. When their egos got out of control that's when the band went downhill.
