I lived in Northern Virginia for a while. Does it get as hot in your area. I can remember 95 and the same for humidity for most of the summer. At least we don't have the humidity here. If it were 110 and high humidity it would be a killer ! I had a really cheap friend who did the same thing only she only brought some sample bottles with her and she was white as snow.
She looked like a swirly artwork at the end of the day, and she got her oversized bathing suit she bought because it was on sale hung on the deck cleat when she jumped in the water. I became a sun worshiper again today...went up to the lake. My friend bought spf 15, Rite-Aid brand (generic stuff) and it washed off in the lake. It gets better.
Being Irish, he burns easily. He thought he wasnt getting color and all that....well...
