GAAAAA!!!!! Damn good info to know! I am in TN in massive storm country where electrical codes are mere suggestions. Lost power today, in fact. Clear, windless day. Just happens all the time. The "grounding" in this house is just a joke.
Thanks a BUNCH for that little tidbit, Healer. Something to ask the ol' invisible fence guy when he shows up for more training tomorrow. Wire surrounds both my big wooden house and pool. Let's hope he knew what he was doing...keep ya' posted or, if you never hear from me again, you'll know what happened! Thanks HB, Loripip, Guido, Healer, Vail;
Everything you all said made sense and today I'm trying to put things into perspective. I feel a little less guilty about mourning and I guess I just need some time to process this all.
Healer, maybe it is also a case of unfinished busines as you said, I would have liked to have made my peace with him but what's done is done.
Thank you all for being an ear, it makes situations like these just that tiny bit more bareable.
xxxx
Love you all

Hey Joe--am so sorry to hear about your troubles.
It's perfectly normal & natural to feel what you're feeling & think what you're thinking.
They were such a huge part of your past & even though it ended on a mad/sad note, you had the courage to pick yourself up, dust yourself off & start all over again.
And you're not betraying anyone so don't even think that.
It was a chapter of your life & now a piece of it's missing so keep in touch with your friend & hold your husband & kids
It will get better !!
Sending Kleenex's your way !!
MUCH METAL LOVE TO YOU, MY FRIEND

Hey Joe, I'm really sorry about your loss. You shouldn't feel quilty at all. I know I would be very upset if I found out my ex-boyfriend(in my case, 1st love) passed away suddenly. When someone has been such a huge part of your life, good and bad it's normal to feel such strong emotions. Could be a feeling of unfunished business or something. I think your emotions are natural and hooking up with your past friend I think will help you move on and forgive. Good Luck with everything and just remember, "Keep the Faith!" That is a really sad tale, Joe. Personally, I don't think that it is wrong to feel such emotions. Perfectly natural, in fact. I recently learned that a guy I barely knew past high school died recently and I still feel upset about it. Heck, I couldn't even really call him a "friend" but he was still someone I knew and feel the loss just the same. I can only imagine what you must be feeling.
Much metal love, my friend. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by joedraper from Wednesday, September 10, 2008 3:54:52 PM) | | joedraper wrote: | | Hello Metal Family,
