I tell you what sucks or what is really pissing me off lately.. these fundamental (emphasize on the "mental" part of that word) christians who think it's totally ok to bombard you with their beliefs and take comfort in the fac that if you do not drop to your knees at once and beg to be saved (from what?) or forward their religious rant style emails to every living soul on earth that you will be klined to hell to have red hot pokers shoved up your arses for the rest of eternity? What the hell is eternity for them anyways? Eternity for me is sifting through their crappy one sided, dim minded fecking intrusive emails.
Before anyone here gets the wrong idea, I am not against anyone's choice of religion but I'm getting sick of being force fed Christian points of view. I'm sick of those pathetic chain emails about "if this was a joke you would have forwarded it to everyone but because it's a message from God will you be brave enough to do the same?" FFS!!! I do not forward any chian emails of any description and to assume that I mindlessly forward pre-sent joke emails to "everyone" is just ignorant and insulting to who I am.
I choose to follow a Buddhist way of life but I do not ram it down anyone's throat! I respect ALL individuals and therefore, I respect that we have different beliefs and understandings. Why can't christians have the same respect for me?
It's not that I don't believe in a higher being etc but to preach to someone that it's their way or the highway is just so wrong. Wrong! WRONG! Wrong!!!
There are way too many of us to be pigeon-holed into a religious regime. I just wish they'd stop. If anything, they're making me turn my back on their thoughts and it makes it harder for me to respect where they're coming from. |
