Folks. It's been quite a while. I have sad news to report. Our dear old friend, Deep Freeze/Mike Berentsen has passed away from complications due to COVID. He passed away yesterday, 5/23/25. If you knew him via Facebook, Mychal Freeze is his name there, then please go and pay your respects to, arguably, this forums patriarch. ❤️

Read the book, not much I didn't already know except the in camp fighting. It's funny how when I was a kid I always thought they were all best friends and hung out together all the time. When you get to a certain level it really is just a business and you do what it takes to sell the music not what you really want to do. I always had the impression that Glenn was kind of a jerk, I still think he is an awesome guitarist but he kind of held the band back while he was running the show. I know it's just one side of the story but we'll see what Halford says in his book. I like Maiden but I hate how they treated Priest, after all Priest paved the way for all the Metal bands that came along say after 1980.
