No Tania, unfortunately I don't have any of the stuff that you posted.
Anyways, I stumbled upon  a new LP called "Coming of the Heavy Lords". The record contains early Black Sabbath tracks from back when they were called Earth as well as demos of Glenn Tipton's Flying Hat Band. Since it's a limited edition, it goes for quite a penny.

Tania, those samplers and limited edition vinyls are exactly what I'm in search of! I haven't had much luck though...

Hello, how is everyone? I just wanted to say that I've been reading Judas Priest: Defenders of the Faith by Neil Daniels and it's very interesting. It gives a lot of good info on the early years as well as stories about the band that I haven't heard before. I recommend it!

If any of you actually own anything vinyl that you think may be rare, check out its price here. I also learned of a lot of Priest boots I've never heard of before thanks to this site:

Nupe: Yes I have visited the site and I like what you've done with it!

And speaking of Glenn, does anyone know where I can get any of the Flying Hat Band's demos?

Hello everyone, I must brag that two days ago I attended the High Voltage Festival in London and got to see the band play one last time! What a show!

Thanks Acolyte. And I don't know how many of you have heard about this but it's pretty much some guys walking around a parking lot before a Judas Priest concert in I think 1986. Pretty classic, good for some laughs.

I've been thinking about buying a book about the band's history for some time now, but I don't know which one to choose seeing as there is a few. Does anyone have any recomendations of a book that's factual, interesting, and up-to-date?

If any of you own the Best of Judas Priest Insight Series record, I'd like to know what you think of the inteviews with John Hinch the band claims are rubbish. I personally thought they were rather interesting.

Guido: I know that selling bootlegs is in a way cheating the band out of some possible income, but that's nothing compared to what sites like Torrent and Limewire do. Just think about it, how much money do you think JP loses because of  bootleg dealers compared to websites that allow you to freely download the band's entire discography? Honestly, I think these are the criminals...not so much people who sell rare, historical records (even if not official).

Here's the link to the site where you can buy just about anything...CDs, DVDs, records, shirts, autographs, posters, you name it. It's also where I found the Stockholm bootleg.

Nupe: I found something from the Turbo Era. It's from Stockholm in 1986. There's also a bootleg DVD from this tour that I can post if you're interested. But anyways, here's the audio version.

I don't know how all of you feel about tributes, but this one is exceptionally good. A lot of good bands play on this, including Ripper Owens himself. Of all the Judas Priest tributes out there, this one is one of the best. I know a great tribute site, if anyone's interested.

For those of you interesed in the Ripper Years, you might want to look into the Australian import version of Demolition. It contains the previously unreleased track What's My Name and recordings of Rapid Fire and Green Manalishi with Owens singing.

And sorry for the previous empty messages, the Internet is not a very reliable thing.

Thanks for correcting me Phantom, I got my facts mixed up.

There's this interesting live bootleg called Live at Reading Festival from 1975. It contains some early versions of tunes from Sad Wings of Destiny and the song Mother Sun. At least that's what i believe the title is, I've never been able to find out for sure. It's pretty neat though, you can find it on Youtube.

I don't know if you all are familiar with this. It is not a bootleg but a compilation of rare live tracks and a remix of Turbo Lover. This was only released in Japan.
