Did you have to dodge vermicious knids while in Loompaland when you were growing up too?
Haha, well it is a pretty accurate term for those drinks I believe!
Now that is just right out! Are you sure that you live on the planet Sun like the rest of us?
We call any drink like that (coke, pepsi, mountain dew, fanta, etc) fizzy drink/fizzy.
There is a difference. Faygo is a soda. Coke is pop.
Speaking stricktly, that is. Bud is right in that I wouldn't blink twice for anyone calling Rock & Rye "pop." Soda pop, after all, Pony Boy! Stay golden.

its still pop in canada
Soda is from Murica
...Faygo "Red" ...when I drank that stuff. I rarely drink pop now but when I do it's sprite.
...as for the term "pop", yeah i know it's soda but back when I was drinking Faygo we called it pop. The first time I heard someone call it a soda I thought they were referring to a float(soda/ice cream). (lol)
