Hey man its been a while. Still up for some FPS action on Steam haha? :D
But yeah the Spider amps are a great starter amp. Mainly because you can get that average metal tone out of it, and it has all the effects pedals built right into it. With hundreds of presets to tweak.
Its ALSO a good thing, because you learn that it sucks ass, and learn very quickly that basically everything has better tone haha. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by maiden/priest6666 from Tuesday, January 19, 2010 8:36:58 AM)
i agree. my dad has a spider 2. they try too hard to make their amps fit dumb needs in an amp. the tone is that of ur average active pickup. no bass. at least this one has barely any
Nononononononono stop right there.
Dont ever buy another Spider amp again unless its the Spider Valve mk 2 amp.
Basically everything is better than a Spider amp. I have a Spider 3 as well.
