There are some people who don't like the more commercial, synth sounding approaching of the albumb TURBO? what do ou think about it and into which genre you fit it, I mean, does it has some "new wavy", "glammy" or something influence to your ears??

Music  is a subjective thing. it's not a vote question( i never wanna be a brainwashed loser haha!).I don't like Metallica!
This is a simple situation! Try to understand guys, it  is not so difficult!  (But is chanceless.)
Popularity, music style etc. are subjective things too.Maybe lots of guy cannot read music well ,but they don't respect nobody
(except their personalities). They are very ridicolous.Sorry, but fact is fact.  Haha!

Never argue with an idiot.

They will drag you down to their level.

And then beat you with experience!

Okay Fanboy, here's a curve ball for you - if you could only choose 1 album to listen to for a month out of "Turbo" or "Master Of Puppets" which would it be?

You see, for me a true fan can be objective too, and I know for sure which of those two 1986 albums is better & which one I would rather spend my time listening to as well.

A true fan (like me) loves every JUDAS PRIEST album(including Rocka Rolla,Point Of Entry,Turbo,Jugulator,Demolition,Nostradamus)!
I don't wanna accept or understand other opinions. The JUDAS PRIEST cannot create bad album!!! Please don't underestimate the
PRIEST albums on this site (especially nowadays)!         Thanx guys!

Anyway the girls were fantastic on  the "You've Got Another Thing Comin'" from Turbo tour video.Unfortunately i haven't seen lots of girl on the Epitaph tour in Budapest.
But it' s great to see pretty girls on a Judas Priest  show.Sorry guys but i love the girls!!!

I'm not a homophobe but I thought it was so gay. From the nail polished fingers on the cover to the synth sounding
crap on the album. I was like great, a metal "Queen". I was almost embarassed to be a Priest fan at the time. Of course
I don't think like that anymore, I'm so much more tolerant now but I still think that album sucks. I'm so glad that album
tanked. Had it taken off we (actually you)(Turbo fans), would probably be reading the who's better, Priest or Bon Jovi
thread right now. Fuck that, I'd be on a metal band's site making fun of the "Is Priest a metal band thread?

Out in the cold would be great to open a winter set with.

With the exception of "Reckless" (which ironically is probably THE stand-out song from Turbo) JP played every song from that album live on the tour that followed, and then afterwards dropped every single one & apart from "Turbo Lover" haven't aired them since.

My guess is that they think the Turbo songs aren't very popular or are now a bit too obscure.

(To paraphrase Paul Stanley recently on the Kiss Kruise when playing some of their older & lesser played songs to the die-hard fans "Obscure can also means not very good!").

Im with you on that.  we might be in the minority but I like turbo.  its not the best, but it fits the style of the times, and sounds decent.

What ever style it is it kicks ass.
Judas Priest can make anything sound good even if it was some crappy pop song.
Judas Priest could make it sound worth listening too.

I personally thought that the Turbo album was awesome. There was different Era's of metal and turbo was made in the Glam Metal Era so I don't know why people are complaining about this album saying that its to glammy or whatever. That's what I read on google.... but Idk all I'm saying is that Turbo was another master piece of Judas Priest
But then again I think Priest had better albums then Turbo but Turbo was still good

Haha! But the Jugulator is heavier than the Painkiller and its not too popular in the " tough " real long time fans' circle.
Poor real  long time fans...  I dont wanna be a real long time fan by other guys' point of view! Sorry!Edited at: Tuesday, November 08, 2011 6:14:25 PM
