it was the same setlist, but they added Living after midnight at the end as a gift for the best audience, they did the same in Madrid!!!

What a show last night.

i would not class my self a fan of Testament yet cause i havent got any of their albums, but they were amazing last night so think im gunna have to get me a few.

Megadeth were good, amazing set list dave singing live is not the best in the world though.

I was  near the middle front for priest, & they were on fire last night.
probley the best time i have seen them, robs singing was on top form.
so much better than watching them at download for all the lights, people ect.
fav songs of the night had to be Eat Me Alive,Sinner, & Death.
even a lil pit for Painkiller was pretty kool.

Such a great atmosphere last night as well dident hear any megadeth fans bitching about priest or vise versa.
lots of priest chants, and many people singing along to War Pigs was fun.

The Manchester show was absolutely amazing! Rob was hitting notes that he hadn't hit in a long time (the best being the scream at the beginning of Between The Hammer and The Anvil) and the rest of the band were on top form. I hope someone posts that performance of BTHATA on youtube just so i can hear that scream again. I was right at the front and KK gave me a thumbs up at the end. Absolutely amazing band with some amazing songs and brillinat st6age presence. The best gig I have seen in my life!

Manchester gig last night was MINDBLOWING, a great vibe, band clearly enjoying themselves, songs were brilliant-even Angel which I had previously dismissed as a sappy power ballad, was beautiful live.

One thing though- twenty-five minutes late on stage? That's a bit off. I'd forgiven and forgotten by the time they got to Eat me alive, but there was a fair amount of grumbling going on beforehand.

just gotta say the gig at birmingham last night was amazing, seen the band many times but that was the best, the sound was fantastic and halford was in great voice, great setlist to.devils child, rock hard ride free fantastic, hell patrol and between the hammer and the anvil were pounding, sinner,. brilliant.i was so proud to be a part of a fantastic night and cant wait for manchester on tuesday now, maiden and metallica are brilliant but when it comes to heavy metal priest are still the best and by a long way, enjoy the gigs guys, keep the faith

[kiamat] Saturday, February 14, 2009 8:12:09 AM
Amen to that- love the Apollo. The MENs too big and impersonal (I'm sure I've had a rant on here about it before). My first time seeing Priest. 'Deth I saw at Download two years ago, it was only a short set though- thanks for posting the list Den.

I'm so buzzing, can't believe I've not actually been to a gig since Slayer in October, and now this?

Take No Prisoners
Wake Up Dead
Skin O' My Teeth
Washington Is Next
In My Darkest Hour
Hangar 18

I think the only change from the show on the 10th was they swapped Skin O' My Teeth for Toute Le Monde.

[kiamat] Thursday, February 12, 2009 2:38:23 PM

Actually Dan, they pulled off Dissident Agressor quite well when they played it last August at the Camden, NJ show.  Thrashing, hard and heavy the rythm was!  Good solid, head banging music!

[Dan Marshall29116] Wednesday, February 11, 2009 4:37:19 PM
I think "Bev" nailed it. They play a festival in the UK in 2008 but they did not do any UK arena shows...I think that is what is happening. It actually works for me. When I saw them in California last year I missed most of it because I was backstage with Heaven and was nice to talk to Dio, Iommi, Butler and Appice but damn I was pissed to miss some of the mighty Priest set. Not to mention they did not play Sinner in the USA last year...(except for the show in Las Vegas)....So this is great. Rock HArd Ride Free....Between the Hammer and the Anvil....excellent!!!
[Alex Guitargod] Wednesday, February 11, 2009 4:32:57 PM
Yes it is !!!

[Bev] Wednesday, February 11, 2009 2:41:01 PM
Could be these are venues they did not play in 2008?
[Screamin' Demon] Wednesday, February 11, 2009 1:33:34 PM
If they don't have the setlist changed on the 2nd Euro leg (this is the UK tour first)....then that's just fucked...
[Maple Syrup] Wednesday, February 11, 2009 12:42:45 PM
