Yes the Birttish Steel/Screaming era was great for riffs.
And one of the best parts is that they arent too hard to play. I reckon I could teach anyone how to play Grinder and Metal Gods fairly quickly.

Whooo tough one...I like to play the British Steel era riffs - Breaking the Law, Metal Gods, Grinder, Living After Midnight -- and the outro riffs on Metal Gods and Steeler are cool too.

We all love them - they're the splendidly crafted hooks in just about every Priest song. As a guitarist I have the highest admiration for people who can write good riffs. I actually rate riffs above solos - but then again as a strictly rythm guitarist, I would!
Do you like the punchy, economic riffing in the early years, such as Victim of Changes or Grinder?
Or are you a wrap for the massive, earth shaking riffs of the later years, such as Judas Rising or the most recent classic Revelations?
Let's have 'em then boys - list your favs here. Once we have enough I am going to make a playlist of them to BLAST the NEIGHBOURS with!
