Hmmm...I think I'll watch whichever one I find first on HBO/Starz/El Rey Network.

How's that?

Excellent. Now if we can just get you to watch the ORIGINAL of "The Omen" (with Gregory Peck), we'd be getting somewhere! Hitchcock's Psycho? Perhaps?

Yup! The one with Linda Blair.

As in Linda Blair? The original? Not some silly TV remake?

Watched The Exorcist yesterday. Not bad! I liked it.
[guidogodoy] Saturday, February 18, 2017 5:19:01 PM
Free HBO weekend got me watching "The Martian" today. Fine film. Wouldn't say it was one of the greatest I have ever seen, FAR from being one of the worst. Kept me entertained the entire time.
Thus, my rating - a FINE film! Certainly worth the time watching it.

Seeing it was another Ridley Scott, I cannot help but notice that the man seems obsessed with the topic of space.

I watched Rogue One, as well. I liked it. Might even watch it again.

Rogue 1 , thought it was quite good
[Head banger] Saturday, December 24, 2016 9:19:57 AM
The Drama was good. the Pilots I know say that scene is complete and utter bs, but entertaining.
[guidogodoy] Friday, December 23, 2016 1:24:33 PM
Ah, whose kidding who..that scene was pretty cool too! Thinking about it, I DID watch it a couple of times.
Kinda like the crash scene in "Alive" ya know? Kinda have to rubberneck a bit!
[guidogodoy] Friday, December 23, 2016 12:38:01 PM
While no pilot, I'd argue that would be all but impossible. I liked the drama that surrounded the character more that the scene. Denzel is a great actor.

Good movie, but can you imagine someone actually trying that with a commercial Jet?
[guidogodoy] Friday, December 23, 2016 12:49:55 AM
I finally saw an entire movie the other night. Usually, I just get a Netflix DVD, rip it, pop it on a harddrive and get another. Actually WATCHED one.
it was "Flight" (2012) starring Denzel Washington. Good drama film. Liked it a lot. Watched certain parts twice.

Within the last several weeks I've watched Dr, Strange and Fantastic Beasts... and I really enjoyed them.  I do strongly recomend that Dr. Strange be watched in 3D.

 BAD SANTA - MUST WATCH

[666ozzypriest666] Saturday, November 26, 2016 1:15:01 AM

I'm an hour away from an IMAX so I haven't been to one yet. That, and I lost my movie buddy. Everytime I say "Hey Flora, want to go this movie?" She tells me she's either already saw it, or she's got plans to go it with her friends.  Guess I'll have to find a new movie buddy. A nice looking one, with a good job, would be nice. etc.

While I'm here...

I'm addicted to the IMAX 3D experience!  'Batman Vs. Superman' is the latest and I was not disapointed.

Bev and I finally watched 'Spy' and it was as funny as hoped for.

Just bought 'Mad Max' on Blu-Ray and am looking forward to watching.
