No band has so far achieved the intensity that Judas Priest have with Painkiller. Songs like Painkiller, All Guns Blazing, Metal Meltdown & One Shot At Glory are unbeatable. Other songs of my interest on this album include Between The Hammer And The Anvil & the sleuthful pseudo-ballad A Touch Of Evil. Shame in my view that a DVD was not released from the Operation Rock & Roll tour as All Guns Blazing, Night Crawler, A Touch Of Evil and Painkiller sounded so amazing live on this leg...especially Painkiller. Anyways on with the someone's like an evolved version of Screaming For Vengeance. It showed Priest's power in getting to the very meat of the metal. It's purely amazing, mindblowing and was the epitome of the Prime Time Priest. Whenever I feel down and need some balls-to-the-walls music to get my blood pumping and adrenaline rushing...this is the answer.

Let me say this, at the beginning of the year i had only 3 Judas Priest albums..And i bought them in spurts mind you..I had "British Steel", "Defenders Of The Faith" and "Angel Of Retribution",i only liked a few songs so i of course bought those albums..But now I have the entire Priest a late bloomer....And yes im 38,i know i should have really gotten into them sooner...But hands down 'Painkiller" is m y favorite album.."Hell Patrol"is my favorite song .."Leather Rebel" great, "Painkiller" a shrieking piece of heavy roaring  thunder...My favorite album and one of my favorite album covers........
